Continuing directly from Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One (2023), Ethan Hunt and his IMF team confront “The Entity,” a rogue artificial intelligence threatening global stability through misinformation and deepfakes. To neutralize this threat, the team must retrieve a crucial “cruciform key” from the sunken Russian submarine Sevastopol, which houses the Podkova device capable of destroying the AI.
